Hey - just saw the video. It was nice to see a traditional band s how. I've heard of so many bands in Alabama doing Michael Jackson tributes.
Do they have actual uniforms, or do they just wear matching t-shirts and khaki shorts? I hadn't seen a band do that before (although, it's been awhile since I've been to a high-school game). The times, they are a changin' I guess.
The color guards did look great with their routine. Enjoy your band/football season!
No MJ tributes here. The band directors pick the shows based on originality and skill level in order to compete in marching band competitions rather than entertainment. They placed really high last year and this year's show is even better so I am eager to see how they place. Yes, they do have uniforms, but the temps are usually so high for the first couple of games that they get to wear their show shirts and khaki shorts. Uniforms are coming soon though!
